Procurement Playbook

The Buyer's
Guide.

Stop guessing how commercial manufacturing works. Understand the economics of scale, the reality of freight volume, and the exact timelines required to build premium packaging.

01

Order Economics & MOQs

The Setup Cost Barrier

Commercial offset printing and die-cutting require expensive physical tooling (metal plates and wooden cutting dies). Spreading a Rs.30,000 setup cost over 50 boxes makes them artificially expensive. Spreading it over 5,000 boxes makes it negligible.

Minimum Order Quantities

Our strict MOQ for custom rigid boxes is 3000 units. However, the unit economics become highly favorable for your brand at the 10,000 to 25,000 unit mark.

Tooling Ownership

You pay for custom cutting dies and foil stamping blocks on your first order. These are kept securely in our facility. Exact reorders will not incur these tooling charges again until needed.

02

Production Timelines

Structural Prototyping (10-14 Days)

Before mass production, we engineer a single physical sample. This allows you to test the exact dimensions with your physical product. We do not skip this step.

Mass Production (30-40 Days)

The clock starts only after you sign off on the physical prototype and submit the advance. Production time fluctuates slightly based on material availability and the complexity of your embellishments.

Buffer Your Launch

Never align your packaging delivery date with your product launch date. Always build in a 10-day buffer for unforeseen supply chain or transit delays.

03

Logistics & Freight

The Volumetric Weight Trap

Rigid boxes do not fold flat. When you ship them, you are paying to ship empty air. Freight costs for rigid packaging are calculated by dimensional volume, not physical weight.

Palletization Standards

To prevent transit crushing, all commercial orders are securely packed in heavy-duty master cartons, stacked on standard wooden pallets, and shrink-wrapped. You must ensure your receiving facility has a loading dock or a forklift.

Ex Works (EXW) vs. Delivered

We can provide Ex Works pricing (you send your freight forwarder to our Gujarat facility to collect the pallets) or we can manage domestic logistics to deliver directly to your fulfillment center.

04

Commercial Terms

Payment Structure

Standard terms dictate a advance payment to lock in raw materials and initiate the production run. The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to the pallets leaving our loading dock.

Overage & Underage

Due to the nature of commercial printing and quality control culling, final delivered quantities may vary by ±5%. You will only be billed for the exact number of flawless units shipped.

Prototype Crediting

Paid custom prototypes are credited back to your final invoice if you proceed with a mass production run of 5,000 units or more.

A Note on Urgent Deadlines

Quality cannot be rushed. If you need 5,000 custom rigid boxes delivered next week, we are not the right partner for you. We engineer premium products, and physical engineering requires precise, unbending timelines.
